Service Program for Older People, Inc. (SPOP) seeks a part-time Administrative Specialist in the PROS program.

PROS is a personalized, recovery oriented program that focuses largely on group services. Combined with socialization, medication support and case management, PROS aims to help older adults with serious mental illness set meaningful goals and increase their independence and community inclusion.

 

The Administrative Specialist reports to the Senior Vice President for PROS, and is the lead on a variety of administrative and clerical functions. They support an interdisciplinary team of recovery providers, as well as serve as the first point of contact for participants upon entry. This position is in-person, and currently part-time Tuesday-Thursday (20 hours a week). Opportunity for the position to become full-time depends on program need in the future.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years prior experience as an administrative assistant, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, use of various internet platforms is required. Fluency in Spanish and prior experience working in mental health services is a plus. Salary dependent on experience.
