The Program Coordinator is a member of the Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP) support team and reports directly to the Director of Member Engagement & Partnerships with additional supervision from the Manager of Program Standards.

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the administrative activities of several ACLP programs, including the Child Life Professional Data Center, Accreditation and Endorsement, Online Education, various grant-funded projects, and other tasks as assigned.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Child Life Professional Data Center

  • Responsible for day-to-day administration of the CLPDC
  • Managing system access
  • Communication to participants
  • Onboarding and user support
  • Assist users in getting started in the system
  • Answer user questions about data entry, reports, etc.
  • Collaborate with other ACLP teams to promote CLPDC to the membership
  • Participate in working group calls relevant to the CLPDC

Accreditation and Endorsement

  • Responsible for day-to-day administration of the endorsement platform
  • Managing system access
  • Communication to participants
  • Onboarding and user support
  • Answering user questions
  • Adding users
  • Managing application lifecycle tracking and invoicing
  • Participation in relevant working group calls

Grant-funded Projects

  • Administrative support for grant-funded projects. Tasks may include:
  • Travel coordination
  • Expense tracking and processing reimbursements
  • Participate in working group calls relevant to grant-funded projects
  • Maintain project records, including any summaries, deliverables, etc
  • Assist with preparation of grant reports

Online Education

  • Assist in system administration, including user registration and communication

General Administration

  • Assist with scheduling for Director of Member Engagement & Partnerships and Manager of Program Standards
  • Other duties as assigned


OTHER JOB INFORMATION

  • Travel one week per year for the ACLP National Conference
  • Occasional remote work option with prior approval


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work well with a variety of stakeholders – staff, volunteers/members, and vendors as needed
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), comfort with Office 365 and collaborative functions preferred
  • Previous experience with association management or customer record systems preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and systems
  • Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks and meet deadlines
  • High level of energy, creativity and initiative – willingness to “own” assigned programs and projects
  • Bachelor’s degree required

JOB STATUS:

The Program Coordinator is a permanent, full-time position and is classified as “exempt” (salaried at a regular rate regardless of the number of hours worked).

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

The salary for this position is between $40,000 and $50,000 depending on experience. ACLP offers a competitive benefits package.
