    Description

    The American Association of Birth Centers (AABC), a small, busy national non-profit in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, seeks a Development Coordinator for the AABC Foundation.

    Primary Responsibilities: The AABC Foundation Development Coordinator’s essential duties and responsibilities include:

    • Donor relations and management
    • Fundraising through events, sponsorships, charity auction, and annual campaigns.
    • Working with the Foundation’s Committees for the attainment of strategic goals
    • Communications and social media
    • Provide staff support in preparation, on-site, and post event for the AABC Foundation’s fundraising gala at the annual AABC conference
    • Contribute to a positive work environment

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree or equivalent
    • Experience with non-profit fundraising and event coordination
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Familiarity and ease with online content management systems and membership/database management systems.
    • Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to respond to members, internal staff and others in a professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly manner.
    • Excellent organizational skills with consistent attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within deadlines.
    • Flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the organization.
