About the Center for Policing Equity
As a research and action organization, Center for Policing Equity (CPE) produces analyses identifying and reducing the causes of racial disparities in public safety. Using data-driven approaches to social justice, we use science to create levers for social, cultural, and policy change.
Position Description
The Center for Policing Equity (CPE) is looking for an experienced Communications Manager with a passion for social justice issues. The Communications Manager will support and execute a communications strategy to advance CPE’s work in social justice and equity. The Communications Manager will need to be both proactive and reactive to communications needs, while working towards the ultimate goal of raising awareness and heightening the impact of CPE’s programs and initiatives with the broader public. CPE will also look to the Communications Manager to serve as a Subject Matter Expert on communications-related efforts and staff development.
This position will initially report to the Portfolio Manager of Field Engagement.
