Description

We’re looking for a Program Assistant!

 

What will you do? Provide crucial support by: Ensuring data integrity, providing quality client service; Backing up our Client Navigator/Front Desk; Providing administrative support to various JVS programs, and non-program staff as needed. You will learn about JVS programs, which provide our clients with skills needed to compete in today’s economy.

 

What do we need from our applicants? A passion for the JVS mission, and:

·        Strong verbal communication skills; clear writing skills

·        Ability to support a variety of programs and pivot as needed to meet overall agency needs

·        Strong organizational skills; exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

·        Proficiency in the use of technology (Microsoft Suite, Relational Databases, Google Suite)

·        Comfort working in a multi-cultural environment with diverse staff and clientele

·        Collaborative approach to work

·        Strong customer service skills; ability to resolve client issues calmly and respectfully

·        Creative problem solving skills

  • Demonstrated experience providing high volume administrative support in a dynamic setting
  • Ability to travel to various Bay Area locations as needed, especially in the East Bay

It would also be great if you have:

·        Ability to identify and implement process improvements

  • Prior experience in, or interest in, program evaluation and performance monitoring
  • Ability to capture, retrieve and analyze data to meet reporting needs
  • Experience in direct service or client support roles.
  • Experience coordinating space and scheduling needs on a large scale, while reconciling competing space/time needs
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce, Access and Google products preferred
  • Understanding of workforce development work
  • B.A./B.S. degree, or equivalent experience
