Young Concert Artists seeks an entrepreneurial person with a background in music education and performance to forge a new and exciting role at YCA. We wish to expand our work in Educational Residency and Community Engagement in our two primary locations – New York City and Washington, DC. This individual will foster partnerships, train the YCA artists for educational residency/community engagement, work with the artists to plan and produce creative projects, and help tell the story of why this work is important. We are looking for an individual driven by our mission to help young artists make an impact with their careers. This individual will report to the Director of Artist Management, and will work closely with the President, the Board Education Committee, and the Chief Development Officer. The non-profit nature of YCA connects our Artist Management department with a community that includes Board members, donors, illustrious YCA alumni, venues in NYC and Washington DC, and a staff of ten.

Since its founding in 1961, Young Concert Artists (YCA) has been deeply committed to helping define the future of classical music by discovering some of the most promising artists of each new generation, developing their unique potential, equipping them to forge new paths for the art form, and working with them to find their audience. Our 60-year history offers a great legacy of important artists fulfilling our mission in every corner of the classical music world. Daniel Kellogg took over as President in July 2019 from Founding Director Susan Wadsworth, and with a new Strategic Plan coming this fall, new team members, and new organizational initiatives, YCA is poised to define a strong next chapter.
