U.S. Right to Know is seeking a researcher/writer to carry out investigative public health work, especially regarding the origins of Covid-19, gain-of-function research and pesticides.

The researcher/writer will be primarily responsible for digging up documents and data, including through open records requests, that advance our investigation into the origins of Covid-19, and the implications of gain-of-function research and biolabs.  The researcher/writer will be expected to share the information they obtain by writing articles, op-eds, blogs, social media posts and fact sheets. The researcher/writer may also assist with other projects related to pesticides and ultra-processed foods.

U.S. Right to Know is a public interest, nonprofit investigative research group focused on promoting transparency for public health. We work globally to expose corporate wrongdoing and government failures that threaten the integrity of our health, our environment and our food system.

Since 2015, we have obtained, posted online and reported on, thousands of industry and government documents, including many acquired through judicial enforcement of open records laws. Once-secret documents obtained by USRTK are now posted in the UCSF food and chemical industry documents libraries for free public access.

Findings of the USRTK investigations have been reported by news outlets around the world, including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, The BMJ, Vanity Fair, Fox News, the Guardian, Le Monde, Der Spiegel, Time magazine, Boston Globe, CBC, Politico, STAT, Daily Mail, Sky News Australia and many others.
