Seattle Against Slavery, a non-profit dedicated to ending sex trafficking and sexual exploitation, is looking for an Executive Director to grow our organization. The Executive Director will oversee all functions of the organization, develop long-term funding strategies, and serve as a leader in the wider anti-trafficking community in Washington State and nationally. We are in need of an Executive Director who possesses the skills and vision to operationalize growth and expansion of successful programming.
Seattle Against Slavery aims to end sexual exploitation in our communities by changing culture through prevention, intervention, and transformation. We envision a world where no one is exploited for sex and we work towards this vision through our three flagship programs: Education, Technology, and Men’s Accountability.

Our organization just celebrated our 12-year anniversary! We are proud of our growth and development over this time, starting out as a grassroots community mobilization organization to a now stable and thriving organization poised for growth in the coming years. We are looking for an Executive Director who can lead our organization in rapid growth to support our strong programs.

Salary range: $95,000 - $130,000 DOE
Location: Seattle Preferred. Our organization is currently working remotely during the pandemic with hopes to return to an office space in the future. Most of our staff is in the Seattle area, but we also have remote workers as a core part of our team.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; utilize a phone, computer, keyboard, pen and paper. This position will also require travel and commuting to rural areas.
Emotional demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to discuss topics including, but not limited, to sex trafficking, sexual exploitation, child abuse, domestic abuse, and other violence.
