GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Vice President, Development, the Coordinator works with the Development team to meet department goals and helps implement plans and strategies to meet fundraising goals. The Coordinator is involved in resource development activities including donor stewardship & recognition, online giving, volunteers, and special events.


Essential Job Functions:

·       General Administrative Support

§ Process and code arriving donations and complete other gift processing activities including offline data-entry

§ Prepare and distribute donor reports, meetings notes, and mailing lists as assigned

§ Provide additional administrative support to Development staff as assigned

·       Collaborate on walk4ALZ team engagement and participant fundraising as well as general event support for all walk activities as needed

·       Data entry and tracking of program participants and Board Give-Get

·       Develop and build Classy pages for all organizational needs as assigned and support donors or hope4ALZ participants in building personal pages

·       Provide additional event support for Visionary Women, An Unforgettable Evening, Early Memory Loss Conferences, and other events as assigned

·       Engage in ongoing donor stewardship and general donor support

·       Collaborate on content and outreach strategies for hope4ALZ third-party event/engagement program as well as monthly giving club, tribute giving, GivingTuesday, and other online peer-to-peer donor activities as assigned

·       Assist in making donor calls as needed

·       Plan, execute, and monitor various projects as assigned


Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required

·       B.A. degree, preferably with a major in a related field

·       Excellent writing, editorial and verbal communication skills

·       Must have strong interpersonal skills

·       High level of integrity and initiative

·       Strong technical literacy skills and ability to learn new software

·       Experience with constituent databases

·       Strong organizational and multitasking skills

·       Bilingual English/Spanish a big plus

·       1-2 years experience in a nonprofit environment preferred

·       1-2 years experience working with relational databases (Donor Perfect, Blackbaud, Classy or similar) desirable
