  • Proactively research grantmaking organizations and opportunities

Events

  • Assist with the strategy, planning, and logistics of TA’s annual benefit, the Streets for People Party
  • Provide logistical support to the events team for bike tours, conferences, and other events as needed

Other

  • Manage the TA gift shop, including the online interface and physical inventory, and collaborate with Partnerships & Events Coordinator on gift shop fulfillment
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Director of Development and Associate Director of Development
  • Support the Director of Development on special projects as needed, including the management of the Development Committee

Qualified candidates will bring with them:

  • Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent
  • 1-2 years of internship or work experience in a people-facing role (e.g. customer service, event planning, volunteer or public programming)
  • A team player who is eager to learn about nonprofit fundraising and possesses strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Self-directed, able to work independently on multiple projects, and able to set and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment, including the ability to “manage up”
  • Superior organizational skills and an appreciation for process and systems
  • High degree of emotional intelligence, professionalism, and level of confidentiality
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and grammar knowledge and skills
