Senior Project Manager

The National Alliance to Advance Adolescent Health, a non-partisan research and policy organization, is seeking a talented individual to work closely with organizational leadership in the role of Senior Project Manager.

The Senior Project Manager’s primary responsibility will be leading and supporting our growing portfolio of health care transition programs and projects made possible by federal and private foundations. The Senior Manager will work in close partnership with the National Alliance President and Senior Medical Director, helping to expand our capacity to deliver innovative and impactful programming. This position will play a key role representing the National Alliance on a 5-year grant in health care transition for youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities coordinating with partner organizations, ensuring deliverables are met, and tracking overall success. In addition to project management, this position will help lead advisory groups with young adults and parents of youth with special needs; prepare and execute research, writing, and presentations; and perform grant writing and reporting.

Due to the pandemic, The National Alliance staff work remotely. Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required
  • 10+ years’ experience working in the health care field at a senior level
  • Understanding of and interest in adolescent and young adult health
  • Strong working knowledge of the health care transition field, familiarity with Got Transition, and past experience working to address needs of those with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
  • Proven analytical and writing skills through multiple formats, including reports, research articles, presentations, and grant applications

Compensation

$85,000. The National Alliance offers a positive work environment, competitive salaries, and excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, PTO, and a Simple IRA plan.
