Position Summary:

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be a vital link between our business teams and our software development team. The analyst will be a part of the team that manages all of the business support software, both built in-house and SaaS.


  • Work with the business teams to assess their ongoing software needs
  • Design technical solutions together with the software development team to fulfill the business needs
  • Create technical documentation for the software development team
  • Create business documentation
  • Manage technical projects
  • Perform quality assurance

Experience and Competencies:

  • Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
  • B.A. or B.S., preferably in a computer-related field
  • Experience with financial, HR, and payroll systems is a plus
  • Experience eliciting business requirements
  • Experience testing that software developed meets the business requirements
  • Experience writing SQL queries and intermediate-level Excel
  • Ability to create business process documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills
  • Ability to quickly diagnose issues and define optimal solutions to technical issues
  • Excellent problem solving, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Ability to multitask
  • Detail-oriented
