In addition to our CARF accreditation, we are recognized statewide as a leader in addiction services. We provide inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, halfway house, and sober living for individuals with substance use and other co-occurring mental health diagnoses to prepare for ongoing community-based treatment and recovery.

Do you enjoy working with people and helping them to progress in their goals? We are looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist (Crisis Team) in Newark. We are looking for individuals that possess people skills and team-building skills, to work closely with our residents, monitoring them, and helping them within the guidelines of the programs. Ideally, candidates who have some experience working with clients who are dealing with Addiction and Co-occurring disorders but we are willing to train the right candidates.

Responsible to meet fiscal requirements of grants and contracts from application/renewal through final closing including preparation of complex grant expenditure reports for a variety of funders. 

Responsibilities:

·        

Compile expenditure data and supporting documentation, prepare for signature and submit assigned contract/grant reports and payment requests/vouchers

·        

Obtain billing documentation from responsible program staff and prepare assigned Fee For

Service billings

·        

Support the preparation of year-end audit requirements related to grants and fixed assets

·        

Hand deliver directly to or pickup materials from funder office when required

·        

Perform special projects and analysis as required by the CFO and Director of Finance/Controller

Required Education and Experience:

·        

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another quantitative major. Master’s Degree a plus.

·        

Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience.

·        

Nonprofit experience focused on grant fiscal requirements and reporting, interaction with

funders.

Required Licensing or Certifications:

·        

Valid NJ Driver’s License

Specialized Skills, Abilities and

Knowledge:

·        

Knowledge of complex financial systems such as MIP.

·        

Skilled in the application of advanced Excel functions including pivot tables

·        

Proficiency with other Microsoft Office programs

·        

Ability to work independently, multi-task, and work in a fast paced environment
