Facility/Property Management Specialist Lead

$2,885.00 bi-weekly BA or higher

$2,690.00 bi-weekly AA 

This position serves as a member of the MSHS Central Office team to provide oversight and support for facilities and property management services for all Migrant Seasonal Head Start services in all regions and states. Works to support systems integration of content area specialist leads that support activities and design tools and systems for effective practice. Implements a process of ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement for achieving program goals and works to strengthen overall program quality and service delivery. Works closely with NIM Lead Site Manager, Site Managers, assigned CDI Content Area Specialist Leads, Regional Program Directors and regional content area teams to communicate and coordinate ongoing issues and needs within each region and allocate resources and develop capacity to address critical priorities. This position has overall responsibility for assuring the implementation of the defined planning, administration, evaluation and support services, and related planning functions for the entire program in the assigned service area: facilities/property management. This position coordinates with other specialists in the areas of human resources, transportation, and technology to provide reliable, healthy and safe environments and services to children and families, and to support the goals of the program.  This position is responsible for overseeing inventory, warehouse/storage activities to include planning, organizing and monitoring the receiving, storage, distribution and record-keeping of all items received ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so supplies are distributed to proper content areas in an effective and efficient manner as needed. Plans and coordinates, trains monitors to ensure accurate inventory/property management within each region.

A minimum of an associates degree with two years related experience and demonstrated knowledge of general building maintenance and facilities/property management is required. Knowledge of local health/safety regulations, ADA and OSHA requirements preferred. Previous experience with lease management and contracting preferred.
