The Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB)’s legal entity in Denmark (IHRB Nordic) is recruiting a Programme Manager to drive IHRB’s dynamic programme on human dignity in the built environment in Europe.
If you have a deep understanding of built environment sectors such as finance, construction, architecture and engineering, are passionate about rights-based social change, have a strong track record delivering effective collaborative projects and a creative approach to advocacy, then this role is for you. The Programme Manager will be the first staff member of IHRB Nordic, with the opportunity to build a strong presence for the organisation across Europe.
From specific buildings to wider urban areas, the programme strengthens collaboration, accountability, and practical action. Focus areas are non-discrimination and inclusion, the right to adequate housing, physical and mental health, and construction workers’ rights. The programme will play an important role at this moment in time, with the built environment featuring strongly in Europe’s plans to rebuild economies from COVID-19 shutdowns and to address climate change.
