Position Overview

Global Citizen is seeking a Director, Employee Engagement & Experience to work closely with the People & Culture team to implement impactful initiatives, services, policies, programs, & events for our worldwide organization. The role is responsible for providing outstanding end-to-end engagement campaigns to inspire and support employees to drive global change and social impact. The ideal candidate must ensure proper communication & company objectives between the People & Culture team and employees in a high-performance environment. Global Citizen co-founders believe that this role is vital in maintaining a culture of trust and employee engagement to take an active part in working with this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to foster engagement programs and partner with key stakeholders (i.e., employee recognition, wellness programs, team-building workshops)
  • Lead as the Global Citizen Culture Ambassador towards revamping our internal values statement.
  • Realign culture priorities within the organization through our diversity & inclusion efforts
  • Managing employee engagement & culture driven activities on a global & regional level
  • Foster an alumni network of past GC employees, include them in periodic communications on our mission, organizational updates, and forming an alumni committee
  • Gather, analyze, and present critical employee engagement metrics to drive the delivery of the initiatives through surveys & focus groups
  • Utilize data analytics skills to strategize, track trends, monitor action plans, and continuously compile results/recommendations
  • Facilitate company-wide compliance with annual initiatives and training (i.e., GDPR, management training, harassment)
  • Develop, promote, & maintain an intranet page for the annual employee engagement calendar, community section, newsletter, and other materials
  • Co-lead employee orientation and serve as the facilitator for new employees to the organization
  • Administrative functions as needed

Requirements For Success

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or equivalent experience in related fields.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience related to HR initiatives in People Operations
  • Proven track record in creating and maintaining employee strategies and plans with an emphasis on business change.
