Direct Cash AssistancE Program Manager

Description:  Leveraging our 501c(3), fund management infrastructure and partnership with AidKit (application and payment platform), Impact Charitable has developed a unique capability to develop and execute direct cash/rental assistance programs.  In March of 2020, Impact Charitable launched the Left Behind Workers Fund which, to date, has delivered over $23m (private + public funding) in direct cash/rental assistance reaching over 18,000 individuals across the state.  More recently,  Impact Charitable partnered with a sponsor to launch the Denver Basic Income Fund in April of this year. Under the direction of a research study developed by the Center for Homelessness and Housing at the University of Denver, the initiative is intended to evaluate the impact of different approaches to providing guaranteed income to individuals experiencing homelessness.  The project is on schedule for a soft launch in early August with a full roll-out in later this fall.

The success of the LBWF has driven a great deal of interest among both public and private funders in exploring other opportunities where direct cash assistance may prove effective as a complementary intervention assisting our state’s most vulnerable populations.  As a result, we are in discussions with a variety of stakeholders regarding a number of additional pilot program opportunities. The program manager is a unique opportunity to work within an entrepreneurial organization alongside funders/sponsors to co-create and manage innovative direct cash programs that deliver unique value to underserved populations in Colorado.
