    Description

    The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) is the national membership organization for the nation’s federally qualified health centers (also known as FQHCs or Community Health Centers). Health centers are nonprofit, community-directed health clinics that provide access to high-quality, culturally competent, and comprehensive care to people living in medically underserved areas. NACHC strengthens the health center movement through advocacy, training, and technical assistance, clinical and operations support.     Job Purpose and Basic Function 

    The Deputy Director, Financial Planning & Analysis manages financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the organization, functional areas, grants, and events.

    Description of Primary Responsibilities and Duties

    1)    Manages financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.

    2)    Prepares and distributes monthly spending reports to decision-makers and collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather required information for quarterly projections.

    3)    Leads the annual budgeting process.

    4)    Prepares ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.

    5)    Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    6)    Other duties as assigned.

    Professional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting and at least seven years’ relevant professional experience is required.

     

    Licenses & Certifications

    Certified public accountant (CPA) or master’s degree preferred, but not required.

    Technical Skills

    1)    Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel including the ability to manipulate and organize data

    2)    Strong communication skills

    3)    Advanced strategic thinking skills

    Salary Range

    $102,500 - 105,000
