Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania’s Philadelphia County is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologists to join their staff. Speech Language Pathologists at Easterseals maintain an active caseload with preschool-aged children in both our own school settings as well as community settings addressing speech, language, and feeding needs as appropriate using a variety of treatment models and methods. Community-based work with school-aged children is also available.

Our mission is to provide exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities. Our services include approved private school, special classrooms, summer programs, assistive technology, early intervention programs and various outpatient speech, physical and occupational therapy programs. Children who receive these services are challenged with a variety of disabilities, including autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, spina bifida and physical and developmental delays.
Maintain an active caseload with preschool-aged children in both school and community based settings.
Ensure the safety of all children in your care at all times by maintaining awareness of the environment.
Provide input and participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings.
Communicate and work with other providers, staff, and families regarding students’ progress, attendance, needs and strategies; attend team meetings as scheduled.
Complete in a timely fashion all required documentation and reports including, but not limited to, an updated schedule, session notes, daily treatment statistics, progress notes and billing forms.
Attend and participate in monthly speech department, office, and staff meetings as well as occasional therapist meetings.
Attend provider trainings and outside provider trainings to accrue adequate ASHA continuing education units and ACT 48 credits.
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association or in process of obtaining.
Pennsylvania Speech/Language Pathologist License or in process of obtaining.
Own transportation vehicle or reliable transportation to travel to and from community locations.
