The Learning Agency 


The Learning Agency is looking for a full-time Program Associate/Manager who will support the CEO and other team members with program and event design, planning, and execution . As a part of that role, the individual will help manage program logistics, track program progress to goals, develop and draft client facing communications, strategize community and audience engagement, and grant reporting, across a wide range of projects.


Ideal candidates will be extremely organized, have a keen attention to detail, are comfortable working quickly, and possess a desire to learn new skills. This title and exact scope of the job will depend on the candidate profile. 


The position will provide the individual with significant exposure to trends in the education and technology fields and has high potential for career growth.

Location: Remote/home office anywhere in the United States (Willing to work ET hours)

Duties and Responsibilities: 

The Program Associate/Manager will engage in the following but is not limited to: 


  • Support project leads to design events by devising detailed program agendas and brainstorming speakersDrafting clear email correspondence to excite our community of education professionals and ensure speakers and participants have timely, detailed information to engage. 
  • Support speaker preparation by drafting and communicating details, helping draft talking points, and designing decks. 
  • Writing promotional emails, tweets and informational copy to engage audiences and participants in events and programming 
  • Manage logistics for virtual meetings and in-person meetings.
  • Maintain and boost engagement on online platforms and online communities by designing engagement posts and maintaining lists of members across different initiatives. 
  • Track progress of events and programs toward deadlines and goals. Report out progress to project leads and clients, and communicate needs.
  • Assist grant and contract management which may include tracking grant reports and compiling deliverables to draft grant reports, and initial financial reporting. 


Candidate Requirements:  

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, knowledge, and skills:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 year of professional work experience (3-4 for a manager role). 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Exemplary follow-through and flexibility, especially in the face of unexpected challenges
  • Experiences with Microsoft and Google Drive platforms
  • Experience drafting and editing effective, error-free content
  • Experience designing and programming events, preferred
  • Interest in the education field and passion for educational equity
