BLCK VC is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization built for and by Black venture investors dedicated to increasing the representation of Black investors within venture capital now and for generations to come. Through our educational programs, networking opportunities, and national chapters, BLCK VC provides the tools and connections to accelerate the careers of Black investors in venture capital. To do this, we implement programs such as Breaking into Venture, Black Venture Institute, host educational and community events, and work with venture firms to diversify their investors and pipelines. BLCK VC is seeking a self-driven, passionate, and highly competent full-time Program Officer to lead the planning and execution of our programs, including our Black Venture Institute (BVI), Breaking into Venture (BiV), and BLCK VC Scout Network Programs. This individual would work closely with the BLCK VC Leadership Team to develop and execute new initiatives and programs, improve on existing programs, and engage with BLCK VC Sponsors and Partners,
co-lead BLCK VC initiatives, create resources that support Black investors and entrepreneurs,
This role would be a great fit for anyone interested in joining a quickly-growing organization that’s meaningfully making venture capital more inclusive. Although this person will work closely with the BLCK VC leadership team, they will also have autonomy to lead programs, manage relevant partnerships, engage with program participants, and oversee program budgets.
