Position Overview

The Lincoln Institute of Land Policy is looking for an HR Analyst to join the HR team. As a member of the HR team, you will take the lead on HR technology and integrations, data and reporting, and payroll support. The HR team works collaboratively, brainstorms ideas and solutions, manages projects, builds relationships across the Institute, and maintains strict confidentiality to ensure a great employee experience.

This is a full-time position in Cambridge, MA or Phoenix, AZ, COVID permitting, at 37.5 hours/week reporting to the Associate Director of HR & Organizational Development.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage technology for all HR systems throughout employee life cycle including but not limited to Human Resources Information System, Applicant Tracking System, Performance Management System, and benefits vendors
  • Identify, prioritize, and manage projects for needed integrations between different systems to make us more efficient
  • Work collaboratively with the HR team to streamline workflows and end to end employee experience
  • Manage regular HR processes such as open enrollments and performance management
  • Build reports, ensure data integrity, and manage data requests to facilitate management decisions
  • Analyze data for trends and issues and recommend solutions on compensation and benefits, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, and diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Audit HR data prior to bi-weekly payroll to ensure all employee changes are accurately captured and communicated to Finance team for payroll processing
  • Support audits, such as Retirement, and Compliance efforts, such as ACA
  • Work one-on-one with employees to troubleshoot solutions
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Travel up to 5%

What You’ll Need

  • 3-5 years of experience with HR systems and data or related field
  • Bachelors' Degree or equivalent experience
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage projects effectively and independently
  • Quantitative skills required; qualitative skills preferred
  • High degree of facility working with data and Excel
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Team player and trustworthy
  • Learning attitude

Compensation Overview

The salary market range for this role is $80K - $85K depending on level of education and years of experience.
