What you need to know about this position:
Performance responsibilities for this position entails, data entry of all employee benefits information (i.e. health insurance enrollments, changes, terminations, etc.); Retaining historical benefits documents by maintaining a system of record keeping, filing and retrieval process; Auditing and reconciling all benefits monthly; Performing clerical functions incidental to benefits activities; and the ability to travel to association branches (No. VA, MD, DC) for presentations, open enrollment, training and meetings
What we need from you:
High school diploma/GED, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred; One (1) year related experience in a benefits department performing benefits administration duties and/or general HR experience; Demonstrate strong communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to communicate effectively; Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of attention to details; Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner; Intermediate computer proficiency skills and working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point); Strong data input skills, with high speed and accuracy; Ability to interact comfortably with employees at various levels of the organization; Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with confidential data;
Working knowledge of HRIS systems is preferred (i.e. Great Plains)

Compensation: $ 13.50 per hour
