The director of middle school mathematics will work closely with the chief curriculum and instruction officer to help develop Ascend's Common Core-aligned, inquiry-based math program. They adapt, curate, and pace research-based curricula; create and refine assessments; develop and deliver professional development in these curricula to school principals, assistant principals, and math teachers; and, in collaboration with the schools team, use academic data to adjust and focus curriculum development and professional development. A successful director of student intervention will create a vision that will guide and determine our theory of action to address the significant learning caused by the ongoing pandemic.Ascend Public Charter Schools
