Job Summary:The Family Partnership and Operations Fellow (FPOF) will work directly with the Operations Manager to support all school programs. This team will take collective responsibility for maintaining and improving upon all school operations and partnerships within the school and community.

Operations responsibilities would include matters related to the facility, technology, data/records, and organizational partnerships. The FPOF will be expected to take leadership on event planning and record management, as well as providing support in all matters related to the school’s operational efficiency.

Family Partnership responsibilities include the building of personal relationships with the school community to foster strong student, family, and volunteer engagement with all aspects of our program, both academic and extracurricular. The FPOF will be the primary liaison with current families, taking responsibility for regular communications, partnership events, and day-to-day issue resolution.

Qualifications: Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the school’s mission, strong written and oral communication skills, and a record for maintaining a professional work ethic. They should also have demonstrable skills in organization, leadership, and independent problem solving. Experience in a school or childcare setting is preferred but not required.

Compensation: Harlem Academy offers a challenging and supportive work environment, leadership and professional growth opportunities, health benefits, and fellowship salary of $32,000. Fellows are asked to commit to two years and often have opportunities for advancement within the organization. The position is open immediately, with daily responsibilities from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and occasional work outside of regular hours.
