Fee for Service Clinician for Fast Break Plus (CFTSS) Program

Association to Benefit Children (ABC) is dedicated to bringing joy and warmth to disadvantaged children and their families through compassionate, sustainable, comprehensive and integrated services, designed to permanently break the cycles of abuse, neglect, sickness and homelessness. ABC's humane and innovative programs include early childhood education, health care services, housing assistance, mental health services, family preservation, crisis intervention, recreational services, job training and employment assistance, therapeutic after school and summer day camp programs, mentoring and legal advocacy. 

Association to Benefit Children's Fast Break Plus (CFTSS Services) Children Mental Health program is currently seeking a Fee for Services Therapist.  

Primary responsibilities and duties include:  

• Provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents and young adults in their homes and/or virtually (0-21). A minimum of home visits is required.  
• Maintain accurate client charts which include documentation of sessions and timely formulation of treatment plans  
• Collateral work with caregivers to support treatment plan goals and parenting  
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary team (Family Peer Advocate, Psychiatrist, Youth Peer Advocate) 
• Conduct psychosocial intakes and diagnostic assessments  

Qualifications:  

• Valid license in New York as an LMHC, LMSW, LCSW  
• Experience providing mental health services to children in a clinical setting  
• Bilingual English /Spanish highly desired but not required  
• Comfort using technology and documenting in an electronic health system  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Excellent organizational, time-management, written and communication skills
