Summary  

The Manager, Program Evaluation and Reporting will play a critical role in analyzing local and national college access and success data to identify trends, assess program effectiveness, and provide actionable insights to the leadership team. This individual will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive reports that enable our program teams to manage and improve their initiatives effectively. Additionally, this role will support the development team by providing relevant data to aid in fundraising and development efforts.


PeerForward is a fully remote work environment that allows staff members to live in states we currently do business in (see website for exact locations). 


Responsibilities   

Data Analysis & Interpretation:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret local and national data to understand trends and patterns.
  • Utilize various statistical tools and methodologies to evaluate program performance.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.

Reporting & Recommendations:

  • Prepare detailed reports for the leadership team, highlighting key findings and recommending strategies for program improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and other reporting tools to monitor program metrics.
  • Present findings and recommendations to both internal and external audiences.

Program Support:

  • Collaborate with program teams to identify data needs and support their evaluation efforts.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to program staff on program management, data collection, analysis, and reporting techniques.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of program evaluations and assessments.

Development Support:

  • Work closely with the development team to provide data and insights that support fundraising and development initiatives.
  • Prepare data-driven reports and presentations for grant applications and donor communications.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure data alignment and consistency across the organization.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with local and national educational stakeholders to stay informed about emerging trends and best practices.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners and data providers.


Qualifications/Requirements 

·       Bachelor’s degree in education, Statistics, Public Policy, or a related field; master’s

degree preferred.

·       Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program evaluation, data analysis, or a related

role, preferably within the educational sector.

·       Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools (e.g.,

Tableau, Power BI).

·       Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data

clearly.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects

simultaneously.

·       Knowledge of current trends and issues in education policy and practice.

·      Ability to work collaboratively (virtually or in-person) in an innovative and entrepreneurial work environment.

·      Up to 10% of their time is required for travel for staff meetings and/or special projects.

·       Enthusiasm for PeerForward’s mission of helping low-income students enroll and persist in college.
