The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - the world's leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis, and one of the most innovative and successful organizations of its kind - is seeking an operations Specialist in Albany, NY with solid administrative and accounting skills.
We are a nonprofit, donor-supported organization that has raised and invested hundreds of millions of dollars to help develop cystic fibrosis therapies that have changed the lives of people with this disease. Nearly every CF medicine available today was made possible because of Foundation support.
Responsibilities include : database management, accounts payable, revenue processing and receipting, reconcile P&L; and monthly GL; maintenance of chapter accounting files, compliance management & audit, development/review of materials, securing volunteers, coordinating mailings, ordering supplies, and answering phones.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant work experience and proficiency with MS Office. Requires strong administrative skills, ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and stay highly organized to ensure timely and accurate work. Two or four-year degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.
