Executive Director, Twin County Recovery Services
The Board of Directors of Twin County Recovery Services (TCRS) is seeking to hire an Executive Director to assume leadership of the organization on or shortly after January 1, 2021. TCRS is licensed by the NYS Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services to provide prevention, treatment and recovery supports for individuals with addiction. The agency’s administrative offices are located in Hudson, in upstate NY's beautiful Hudson Valley Region, about an hour south of Albany and north of Poughkeepsie. Clinical services, residential services, and prevention programming are delivered from various locations in Columbia and Greene Counties.
Under the general direction of the Board and Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for the following: Leadership; Fiscal Oversight; Program Management and Evaluation; Staff Management; Communications and Public Relations; Decision Making; Strategic Planning; and, Board Relations. The person in this position will have the opportunity to manage an agency that is central to the work of efforts to address the epidemic of addiction to opioids and other drugs of abuse, in close cooperation with local, state and federal partners.
We offer the opportunity to work in a vibrant and highly collaborative community for competitive compensation, including a salary ranging from $85,000 to $95,000, based on experience, and a rich benefits package.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (public health, human services, public administration, etc.), although a Master’s Degree is preferred. Experience must include staff supervision and management in the not-for-profit or public sectors. Excellent written and oral communication skills, public speaking experience, and the ability to interact productively in small and large groups are also required. Experience with managing grants and contracts, data analytics, advocacy, and knowledge of addiction services are not required but preferred.
