Lextended Day is a six site after school program looking for educators to provide exceptional enrichment activities and creative play opportunities. We believe play is the work of childhood and children can grow from creative play in unique and exciting ways.

Lextended Day has set the standard in after school enrichment for the last 35 years. All training is paid and there are opportunities for growth within our organization.

We are looking for people with:

  • 2:45 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
  • 11:45 am to 6:00 pm on Thursday
  • Start times may vary by 15 minutes depending on the site. 3 to 5-day commitments are preferred. Commitment to the care of children includes the understanding that both the weekly schedule and the yearly commitment matter.


  • Course work in Education and/or experience with groups of elementary aged children
  • Willingness to develop professionally
  • Highly dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Enthusiastic, helpful, positive attitude

Physical Demands

·      Ability to continuously and actively monitor the children

·      Ability to bend, squat, and climbs stairs

·      Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
