Description

The role of the South County Navigator is to assist and triage families and individuals who are currently experiencing homelessness in the South Snohomish County area. The Navigator conducts coordinated entry, vulnerability, and self-sufficiency assessments and helps clients develop action plans and aids in barrier removal to work toward housing stability. Coordinates referrals to service providers to help meet the identified needs, the Navigator tracks outcomes, assessments and up keeps case notes in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).


This position has a social justice component that requires critical thinking through the lens of racism and intersections with poverty. Knowing the core principals of antiracism and grounding those principles in everyday work are required job skills and core values.
