Enroot is a non-profit organization that empowers immigrant youth to achieve academic, career, and personal success through inspiring out-of-school experiences. Through Enroot, students participate in professional internships, leadership development, post-secondary guidance, mentoring, and tutoring. The AmeriCorps Massachusetts Promise Fellow will take a key role in leading the Leadership Cohort, a group of 30- 35 students in Somerville and Cambridge. Working closely with the Enroot team, s/he will co-facilitate weekly seminars, lead monthly Junior and Senior Workshops focused on post-secondary access, provide 1:1 guidance for students on college/career exploration, and lead weekly academic tutoring. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to lead major program components and work directly with immigrant high school students.

We are looking for two Fellows: one to serve in Cambridge, and another to serve in Somerville. Please list your preference in the general application.

Level of Language Proficiency
