Position Summary: Uses Social Work Skills to assist Nazi Victim Clients with financial management services from a person centered trauma informed perspective.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Makes home visits to elderly Nazi Victim clients for the purpose of assisting them with financial management tasks.
2.Utilizes social work skills to work with the Holocaust Survivor population to assist clients with fiscal management using a person centered trauma informed perspective.
3.Compiles and sorts clients; documents, such as invoices and outstanding bills to be paid.
4. Prepares checks, from clients' checkbook, for payment of clients' bills.
5. Verifies and posts in checkbook details of transactions such as deposits and disbursements made.
6. Maintains clients' deposit ledgers; prepares and corrects bankbook entries.
7. Reconciles checkbook and other records on a monthly basis.
8. Consults with and keeps primary social worker/supervisor informed of activities, needs, and problems related to services to clients; makes appropriate referrals to primary social worker/supervisor for services.
9. Maintains case notes and records, required documentation, according to departmental standards.
10. Prepares statistical and other reports, as required.
11.Assisting Administrative Assistant and/or Program Director with tasks related to Guardianship clients relocation and preparation.
12. Assists in obtaining and filing Court and Guardianship documents.
13. Collaborates with primary social worker to gather documents for benefits and entitlement applications and renewals.
