Child Development Department staff support the Neighborhood House mission framework and Strategic Plan by contributing to the school readiness of low-income children and supporting their parents, care givers and community. The Head Start Food Service Worker’s primary responsibility is to serve breakfast and lunch to Head Start children in the classroom. All food preparation and meal cleanup is the responsibility of the Food Service Worker. This position will provide classroom assistance to the Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher as time allows.

Reports To: Family and Health Services Supervisor

Status: Regular, 32 hours per week, 10 months per year

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Hiring Range: 07 ($15.04 to $16.69 per hour)

Location: Rainier Vista
