About Our Organization
The Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law (The Center) is a 501(c)(3) organization that has served as a cornerstone of family law and domestic violence assistance for low-income persons in California since 1982. The Center empowers domestic violence survivors, supports parents in building and preserving relationships with their children, and helps families and individuals live in dignity. With the aid of volunteer lawyers, law students, and interpreters, the Center provides free family law services and legal education and ensures that poverty is not a barrier to justice in the courts.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Under guidance and supervision, the Development and Communications Assistant will contribute to a range of fundraising, communications, and administrative tasks to support and grow the Center. These include but are not limited to:
