AHRI Program Engineer, Certification 


Department:  Engineering  

Job Status:  Full Time 

Reports To:  Director, Certification 

Amount of Travel Required:  0 - 10% 

 

Position Summary: 

The Certification Engineer's primary responsibility is the administration of certification programs associated with assigned product sections. Duties include conducting compliance committee and subcommittee meetings, communicating with member companies and the HVAC/R industry, and introducing companies to the certification program.

 

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree from a nationally accredited four-year college or university in engineering (emphasis on Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • One to two years related work experience in the HVAC-R industry; experience giving presentations in a business setting
  • Familiarity with and ability to use MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint) and MS Outlook email at an intermediate level
  • Certificates & Licenses: LEED,PE or EIT desired but not required

 

AHRI offers a competitive salary and a full benefits package in a friendly work environment. The salary hiring range for this position is $66,000 - $97,000 based on relevant industry experience.
