District of Columbia
We're excited that medical aid in dying is presently authorized in several states and D.C. -- and now is a great opportunity for the right person to get involved with building the capacity of local groups and state campaigns in order to move Compassion & Choices medical aid-in-dying campaigns forward! If you have a passion for coordinating campaign activities and meet the following experience and education requirements, we'd love to hear from you!
Across the nation, Compassion & Choices works to protect and expand end-of-life options — and to ensure that healthcare providers honor and enable patients’ decisions about their care. To make this vision a reality, Compassion & Choices focuses nationwide and within communities to empower people with information and tools to ensure they are receiving state-of-the-art care and a full range of choices for dying in comfort, dignity, and control.

You will be working with the state campaign managers to write and execute effective campaign plans designed to move campaigns forward, taking into account areas such as grassroots activism, grassroots recruitment, fundraising, media and lobbying.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 5 years direct related campaign experience.
