The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and management of the volunteer program. This includes identifying volunteer opportunities within the organization, developing all volunteer materials and recruiting, training, and recognizing volunteers. This position also coordinates and manages the in-kind donations, working with the Administrative Assistant and working with the Development Assistant to ensure proper recognition is given. The Volunteer Coordinator is a key member of the Development team working closely with the team to ensure effective support for events, appeals and other cultivation and engagement activities as needed. This position supervises the Giving Tree Assistant.
1. Bachelor's Degree
2. Experience working with and supervising volunteers.
3. Community resource development experience.
4. Valid Washington State driver's license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle.
