Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

Coordinate Food assistance For Assets activities in the framework of WFP operations in Djibouti.

Together with the national counterpart and the National Programme Officer, contribute to the elaboration of a strategy for WFP’s technical engagement with the MENFOP

Strengthen government capacity and other stakeholders to strengthen a nationally-owned school feeding programme.

Strengthen government and local cooperatives capacity to improve food security through asset creations. .

Explore new ranges of opportunities to develop asset creations including through innovations such as hydroponic culture, urban market-gardening, etcWithin the specific area of responsibility, prepare a range of reports and data analysis (e.g.socio-economic impact of FFA interventions) and highlight trends/issues ensuring deliverables adhere to corporate standards and quality control.

Liaise with internal and external counterparts to support effective collaboration, implementation and monitoring of ongoing activities.
