Located on the borer between Park Slope and Gowanus in Brooklyn, NY, Community Help in Park Slope, Inc., AKA CHiPS, is a non-profit organization serving the homeless and hungry through two programs housed in one building: a soup kitchen providing meals and pantry items to hungry individuals and a transitional residence for homeless pregnant young women and their infants. CHiPS is seeking a full-time development associate who will support its fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities include: (1) producing and overseeing fundraising mailings; (2) managing CHiPS fund raising databases (Classy and Salesforce), supporting fundraising efforts by running queries, analyzing data and producing reports; (3) assisting the executive director in a range of administrative functions such as serving as a liaison to the board of directors, assisting in preparing for board and board committee meetings; (4) assisting with proposal development including grant writing, preparing preparing materials and (5) assisting in managing CHiPS website, social media posts and newsletters; (6) managing CHiPS virtual (and in the future) in-person events.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, 2-3 years prior development experience, proven ability to work collaboratively, excellent organizational and writing skills, ability to use all Microsoft Office programs and proficiency in Salesforce preferred.
