The American Trucking Associations (ATA), the nation’s leading trade and lobby association representing the trucking industry, is offering an exciting opportunity within our Membership sales team! We are actively seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Account Executive to sell and market the benefits of ATA membership on a national basis. This is an inside sales position. The successful candidate will act in a proactive sales role by prospecting, recruiting and retaining qualified companies with revenues of $8M or less.
Knowledge and Skills
BS/BA degree, preferred; Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in sales; Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, with proactive phone personality; Prior database management experience required; Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office applications, such as Word and Excel; Ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize simultaneously; and Proven sales track record.
