After 20 years of giving, we are at an exciting inflection point and well positioned to provide support to the social sector in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. After interviewing 100+ trusted partners, including local nonprofits, other funders, and civic leaders, we launched a Corporate Accelerator Fund and improved our Grant Cycle and Tech Accelerator Fund programs. We are looking for a Digital Marketer to lead the planning and execution of digital and social media marketing campaigns for FCF’s social impact programs, the Grant Cycle, Tech Accelerator Fund, Corporate Accelerator Fund. You will ensure that social media and email support of marketing campaigns and initiatives delivers on FCF’s strategy and Objectives and Key Results. The Digital Marketer will work with and help support Programs, Business & Membership, Fundraising, and Operations colleagues to help meet brand objectives.

We are looking for a goal and detail-oriented communicator who is committed to scaling social impact. Reporting to the VP of Marketing and Strategic Communications, you will serve as a valued contributor to our close-knit team and organization. It is therefore critical that this person is able to reflect FCF’s values, demonstrate FCF’s commitment to diversity, equity, and belonging principles, and inspire others to do their part in building a better Bay Area. To be successful, this person will have a demonstrated record of successful social media, digital, and integrated marketing experience, a service mindset, and high-caliber written and speaking skills.   • Manage organizational social media accounts including daily schedule 
  • Develop and maintain social media metrics dashboard weekly, monthly, and quarterly
  • Partner with Programs, Membership, Business Development, and Philanthropy to traffic website additions, deletions, and changes
  • Develop and maintain SEO metric dashboard 
  • Manage internal requests for mass emails including production schedule   
  • Manage production and distribution of monthly e-news digest
  • Manage integrated digital marketing production plan and related projects  


  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media, web management, email marketing
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and managing data dashboards for social media, SEO web traffic, click-through rates, etc. 
  • Experience managing high-volume content across multiple digital platforms
  • Strategic thinker who can identify new, better ways to increase digital engagement
  • Excellent prioritization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Desired: Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Marketing Automation Platforms, HTML 
  • Desired: Nonprofit experience and a demonstrated passion for social impact, grantmaking, impact investing, or corporate social responsibility
  • Desired: Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn advertising platforms with experience boosting content and creating paid ads according to campaign goals/objectives

This is a part-time contract opportunity (approximately 15-20 hours/week) for nine months with consideration for renewal dependent on performance and organizational needs. Compensation is $50-$60 per hour.

FCF is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, but this role can be performed anywhere in the U.S.
