Published 10 days ago

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rockville (UUCR) is an inclusive liberal religious community committed to its mission to Practice Courageous Love. The congregation of more than 550 souls (350 members, 100 friends, 100 children and youth) welcomes all people, wherever they are on their spiritual journey – agnostics, atheists, people with deep religious faith, and spiritual seekers – who want to grow spiritually and live out their faith in the world.

Our congregation’s Technology & Communications Assistant will support the virtual ministry of UUCR by working with our nurturing and supportive staff to make the congregation’s mission real in the world by working toward our shared goals of spiritual development, spiritual practice, and justice-making.

The Technology & Communications Assistant may work off-site/remotely for the foreseeable future, to include attending weekly staff meeting, unless it is necessary to be on-site to complete a task. Worship support will require Sunday hours; other meetings will require evening or Saturday hours.

We encourage all applicants, especially those from members of traditionally marginalized communities, such as LGBTQ+, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color), neurodiverse people, and people with disabilities. We welcome applications from those whose skills and talents for this work are not reflected in a traditional educational or career path.
