Talent Development Operations Manager

THE OPPORTUNITY:

As part of its commitment to supporting the professional development and growth of its staff, ActBlue will be building out systems and processes to support internal and external development opportunities. The Talent Development Operations Manager will support the development of systems and the execution of professional development and growth efforts by owning administration of PD budgets, professional growth technology, and Confluence resources. Success for this role will be defined by staff engagement with resources and development of key processes and policies. This is a new role that will report to the Talent Development Partner.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Lead the administration of ActBlue’s annual review process, including a new 360 review process, ensuring that staff and managers meet deadlines and effectively use CultureAmp technology;
• Build professional development approval process for staff members’ individual professional development budget; own execution of professional development budget approval process to ensure that staff are effectively using their PD budgets;
• Create and publicize guidance materials for professional development and annual review processes;
• Research and publicize high-quality external professional development opportunities;
• Support in scheduling internal professional development opportunities; support in administration and analysis of professional development feedback surveys;
• Other projects as assigned.

• Demonstrated ability to use data and feedback to build and improve processes;
• Demonstrated ability to engage meaningfully with issues of racial equity and inclusion;
• Ability to build real and meaningful relationships with staff across teams;
• Strong written communication skills;
• Demonstrated commitment to progressive politics and issues.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE…

• Experience working with CultureAmp or similar performance management software;
• Experience in providing or sourcing professional development opportunities for a wide range of staff members;
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and creatively with external vendors.

LOCATION AND COMPENSATION

ActBlue’s headquarters are located in Davis Square in Somerville, MA, just a few blocks from Boston’s MBTA Red Line train. This posting is for a full-time, in office, salaried position based in Somerville, MA, though we are open to discussion about remote work for the right candidate. We are authorized to support remote work in California, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia, or Washington DC.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000, depending on experience.
