ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
The Ocean Sewage Alliance (OSA) is a diverse collective of organizations and academic partners committed to reducing the threat of ocean wastewater pollution and increasing the health and wellbeing of both humans and nature. The OSA launched in June 2021, includes twenty four diverse partners across conservation, academic, sanitation and private sectors and has established five working groups. OSA is an independent operating project of the nonprofit umbrella organization, Multiplier, a nationally recognized nonprofit with a growing portfolio of innovative initiatives that conserve and protect a sustainable and resilient world.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Network Coordinator will play an integral role in supporting the Executive Director in coordinating day-to-day operations of the organization and in critical program development. This is an opportunity to play a central role in the development and growth of a new and growing nonprofit.
The Network Coordinator is a newly-created position. This position is essential to developing collaborative partnerships with cross-sector organizations working on the issue of ocean wastewater pollution, but not yet all working together. With a diversity of partners, a newly launched awareness building campaign and social media presence, and a growing pipeline of interested potential new member organizations, OSA is at an exciting point in establishing itself as a solutions-driven network of experts, cross-sector collaborators and as a knowledge hub for driving action.
The primary responsibilities of the Network Coordinator will be to provide administrative support, program management expertise and partnership development skills to sustain and accelerate the growth of the organization. This is an unparalleled opportunity to work across all areas of a dynamic startup organization, learn and apply program development strategies, and employ essential leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. The Network Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring OSA achieves its ambitious vision.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
If you enjoy organizing, creating and executing elaborate to-do lists, and are always the one in charge of coordinating the troops for camping trips, then this might be the position for you! The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, can juggle and prioritize multiple tasks, and thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. You also bring your own ideas and creativity to contribute to developing partnerships and driving progress across our working groups.
You are passionate about protecting ocean and human health and working towards a sustainable and equitable society. You have the ability to think about the big picture, but can also execute administrative tasks thoughtfully and with attention to detail. You have experience in meeting coordination and facilitation and a passion for communication and social media outreach. The ideal candidate will be a person of high integrity, humor, creativity, enthusiasm, and optimism.

COMPENSATION:
Multiplier provides a comprehensive compensation package, including competitive salary ($60,000 with potential for performance-based increases relative to rapid increase in responsibilities and execution of role), excellent medical and dental benefits, retirement savings, and generous vacation and sick leave policy.
