Provide administrative and programmatic support to the Global Initiatives team, reporting to the Associate Director, Operations. Support the management of day-to-day operations of the Global Initiatives office including program, financial, logistical and administrative management of global projects. Serve as an information and knowledge resource to both internal and external stakeholders and will ensure efficient systems, processes and procedures are in place. Project management functions can include but are not limited to managing sub-awards, coordinating consultants and vendors, funder reporting, budget processing, planning and implementation of events and training programs for the Ghana Nurse Leaders project. Support research analysis, proposal and budget development, and provide technical, management and administrative assistance to Principal Investigators and partner organizations.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
2 years' relevant experience providing project management support to a variety of complex programs and administrative support to departmental initiatives including writing communications, and supervising office operations or equivalent in combination of education and experience.
Experience working in a diverse multi-cultural and global environment with international partners and solid understanding of academic environments, including knowledge of grants administration, budget development and monitoring of expenditures, proposal submissions and project management tracking systems.

Excellent project management skills required with the ability to research, analyze and synthesize information including budgets and financials. Superior interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced global environment with competing deadlines and priorities. Ability to develop, implement and interpret policies and procedures and effectively communicate sensitive information verbally and in writing to a diverse population, working with international partners and other stakeholders across the organization. Superior problem-solving and excellent writing skills.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (include competencies, certifications, licenses, etc.):
Experience in international program management and knowledge of global health issues.
