Your Position with TNC
The Legal Program Coordinator (Coordinator) provides a range of program support to The Nature Conservancy’s Corporate Services Legal Team. This position is supervised by the Associate General Counsel for Corporate Services and works with multiple attorneys and legal support staff. The Coordinator performs various administrative tasks, including: preparing documents, maintaining document templates, sorting and distributing mail, answering phones, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, purchasing, maintaining equipment, and working with vendors. In addition, the Coordinator will coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, manage department calendar, process expense reports and invoices, monitoring budgets, and coordinate logistics of meetings and special events, including setting up video and audio conferencing.
The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree plus 1 year of work experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Other requirements include experience managing diverse activities to meet deadlines, experience providing administrative support (phone/customer service, mail distribution, equipment maintenance, coordinating travel arrangements and meetings or organizing files), proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, experience working and communicating with a wide range of people and experience writing, editing and proofreading written materials.
This is a part-time, 28 hours per week, non-exempt position based at The Nature Conservancy’s Worldwide Office in Arlington, Virginia. Only applications that include a cover letter will be considered.
