Description

The Development Coordinator (Management Support Professional) is responsible for providing administrative support to three frontline fundraisers on the Major Gifts team for the Mass General Cancer Center, Department of Neurosurgery, Department of Psychiatry and other departments. Reporting to a Senior Director of Development, the Development Coordinator’s responsibilities include managing calendars, making travel arrangements, processing business expenses, drafting correspondence and handling all preparations for appointments, meetings and presentations with excellent customer service and professionalism. In addition, the Coordinator will handle the tracking of fundraising work using Raiser’s Edge and preparing and distributing reports and mailing lists, among other duties.


The ideal candidate will be a professional, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and customer service skills. A minimum of one to two years of related work experience required; experience working in a development office strongly preferred. BA/BS degree preferred.
