Mobilization for Justice (MFJ), a non-profit legal services organization that provides a wide range of free civil legal services to low-income New Yorkers, is seeking an MSW to provide holistic services to individuals and families struggling with mental health disabilities. The Social Worker will provide supportive counseling, benefits assistance, and home visits in efforts to address the immediate needs of our clients, while simultaneously striving to address the root causes of inequity. The Social Worker will work at MFJ’s Bronx office, and will collaborate closely with the attorneys, paralegals, and other advocates of the Bronx arm of MFJ.
The Social Worker will have the opportunity to obtain clinical hours while working four days per week and the ability to work remotely at least one day per week.

Salary is pursuant to a collective bargaining agreement. In The salary range for this position is$71,254.74 to $119,389.80.
Addition to a competitive salary, the Social Worker will have access to MFJ’s generous benefits package, including health benefits with no employee contribution to the cost; dental, vision, long-term disability and life insurance; pre- tax flex spending account and a transit check/voucher program; and participation in a 403(b)-tax deferred annuity plan to which MFJ contributes 7.5% of your salary after your one-year anniversary. The Social Worker also will receive 26 vacation days, two floating holidays, and 14 designated holidays each year.
