The Advancement Office is a small team of talented professionals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to Lincoln School’s mission, provide the best in customer service, continually strive for excellence, and embrace a desire to consistently surpass expectations. We collaborate with the Head of School, the Board of Trustees, parents, alumnae, donors, volunteers, students, faculty, and peers to do our part in advancing girls’ education and fund the strategic goals of the Lincoln School community and we have fun doing it.
You have a bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent experience, with a high level of professionalism, flexibility, enthusiasm and you enjoy supporting your team and working with volunteers, board members and high level trustees. You see opportunities in obstacles and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You value working in and fostering an inclusive community. You are excited by the possibility of working in a school environment and believe in the power of philanthropy.
You’re action-oriented with excellent planning and organizational skills and are naturally detail-oriented. You have a clear understanding of the strategic value that correct data provides from data entry to reporting to donor experience; recognizing it as the critical foundation for success in any fundraising department.
You will directly report to the Director of Advancement and will support all staff on the Advancement team in its quest to achieve its mission and success. Duties included are listed into two types of functions, Administrative Support and Database Management.
The Advancement Team enthusiastically accepts other duties, as well as learning opportunities, as needed and assigned. Attendance at night and weekend Advancement events is required as a member of the team.
